This is a day for the Queens! Join us at the Kansas City Urban Youth Academy (KCUYA) for our 6th annual Queens of the Diamond, where teams compete in a three-game softball tournament. You won’t want to miss this unique women’s event filled with networking, food and drinks, amazing prizes, and the opportunity to learn more about the KCUYA’s mission. All proceeds from the event will benefit girls’ softball and academic enrichment at the KCUYA.

The Kansas City Urban Youth Academy 

The Kansas City Urban Youth Academy, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, empowers Kansas City’s urban youth through baseball and softball, as well as providing academic and social opportunities to become the leaders of tomorrow. The Academy is committed to providing a safe, positive environment and surrounds youth participants with coaches, mentors, and role models to help them succeed on and off the field - while growing the games of baseball and softball in the urban community. 

Team Sponsorship Opportunities

Each team has 12 total players. Not every sponsorship level includes fielding a team in the tournament. Please review what's included in each sponsorship level at: www.royals.com/queensofthediamond

  • Even if you don't have a team, you can still come to support by purchasing an individual fan ticket! You'll enjoy breakfast, lunch, and cheering on your favorite teams.
